American Association for Justice (AAJ) Release New Report Condemning Some Insurance Company Practices

The American Association for Justice (AAJ) has released a brand new report condemning  some insurance company practices. Everything from "deny till you die" to arbitrary and irrational claim denials.

This special report on insurance company practices is available here.

I have just read the American Association for Justice report and your blog comment. Writing from Canada, many of the details about insurance company practices are different, but the underlying issue is the same: they all have an incentive in profit to deny the claims. Some of the practices in the United States seem more extreme than in Canada, but we have had our share of outrageous practices here.

Mr. Glass,
I used to work for many of the insurance giants and the information described within this report comes as no surprise.
Kudos to you and the American Association for Justice for exposing this behavior.
Keep fighting the good fight!

Mr. Glass,

Thank you for making the American Association for Justice report regarding insurance company practices to light for the general public. I am appalled and not the least bit surprised by what is contained in the report. It fits with my personal experience of insurance companies.

To think that our federal government is spending billions of dollars to save insurance companies from bankruptcy due to their own business practices and decisions and that they have been systemattically reneging on their pledge to "be there for us" is appalling.

Without attorneys like you and organizations like the American Association for Justice, what chance does the regular citizen of this country have against these corporate giants?

Do you handle insurance bad faith cases outside of Virginia?
