Fairfax Jury Awards $2.25 Million in Malpratice Case
According to published reports, a Fairfax Circuit Court jury has awarded the estate of a former employee of Inova Fair Oaks Hospital nearly $2.25 million dollars following and operation to repair a failed Nissen fundoplication. The verdict was later reduced in accordance with Virginia's cap on damages.This very sad case involved the death of a single mother of a 17 year old daughter.
