"No Boys to Drive" Lawsuit to Proceed

The Supreme Court of Virginia has ruled that a mother who hosted a teen age girl for a sleepover, and who made a promise to the parents that "I won't let you daughter be driven by a boy" may be sued when the young girl died in an accident later that night when being driven by a teen age male driver.

This case should send a strong warning to parents that they have an obligation to keep their promises.

Read more about this very sad case involving a wrongful death during a sleepover here.
