Frequently Asked Questions about Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice, and Insurance Disputes

Q: Do I have to pay back government benefits paid to me because of an injury?

A: In most cases if the government has paid for your medical expenses you will have to repay the government if you receive a recovery because of your medical malpractice case.  You may in addition have to repay early retirement benefits or other disability benefits but this is on a case-by-case basis.  Only an experienced medical malpractice attorney who understands which government benefits you received will be able to fully answer this question.
