PROVING MY MALPRACTICE CASE: What do I have to prove in my medical malpractice case?
A: You have to prove that the defendant violated the "Standard of Care" and was negligent. In other words, you have to show that the defendant did something wrong and your injuries did not come about simply as a poor result of adequate care.
