INSURANCE ADJUSTER KEEPS CALLING : What do I tell the insurance adjuster who keeps calling? I havent even finished my medical treatment since the accident.
A: The insurance adjuster is not your friend and he or she will attempt to close your claim as quickly as possible. However, you have to remember that insurance adjusters are not trying to harass people with all of the phone calls; they are just doing their job.
What I normally advise my clients to do following a serious Virginia car accident is to tell the adjusters that they are still being treated and will call them once the treatment is completed. I also tell them to politely request that the adjusters stop calling.
