Brown v Hartford - The Insurance Company Wins This Disability Case
Geral R. Brown appeals the district court's order granting summary judgment to Hartford Life Insurance Co. (Hartford) on his challenge to the termination of his long-term disability benefits. He sued Hartford under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, 29 U.S.C. ยง 1132 (ERISA).In a prior appeal, this court remanded for the district court to re-examine the evidence in light of the arbitrary and capricious standard of review
