Most claimants never thought it could happen to them
Fortunately, most car accidents to not involve catastrophic injury. In fact, many accidents do not involve broken bones at all. Many claimants suffer acute or persistent neck/back pain for which physical therapy and conservative management works wonders.I recently had a client who told me that based on what she had "heard" over the years, she thought that anyone who hired a lawyer for a soft tissue car accident injury was a liar and a fraud.
Until it happened to her.
Now she gets it (unfortunately).
She'll probably get better over time although, because she is older, it may take some time. She's working diligently and following directions from her health care providers.
But she is upset. She's learned that a soft tissue injury can be very life altering.
